City Facility Rental

The City of Hugo has the following facilities available to rent:
  •  The Oneka Room at City Hall (14669 Fitzgerald Ave. N.)
  • The Rice Lake Center (6900 137th St. N.)
  • The Gathering Room at Hanifl Fields Athletic Park (7032 137th St. N)
  • Peder Pedersen Pavilion at Lions Volunteer Park (5524 Upper 146th St.)
 

Facility rentals should be made online at:  https://secure.rec1.com/MN/hugo-mn/catalog.

 
If you would like to make a new reservation, create an account.  You will be able to view the rooms and availability, and make your rental online.  Please select your address from the drop down menu.  Residents of Hugo receive discounted rates and may book up to 1 year in advance.  Non-residents may book up to 90 days in advance.  You need to pay in full to reserve a room. If you use a credit card, you will be charged fees by the processor.  

Please read the rental policy and fee schedule at the bottom of the page.  Policies include: 

  • Your rental period must include all set up and cleanup. You are not allowed to use the facility outside of your rental period. Use of the facilities is not allowed after midnight or before 7 am.  
  • A $100 damage fee will be charged if the facility is not clean or decorations leave marks.  If larger damages occur, a larger fee may be charged. 
  • Cancellations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance for a refund.  No shows will be charged their rental fee.
  • Non-profits are not allowed to have alcohol at their rentals.  Non-profits my use the Rice Lake Centre for free and the Oneka Room and Hanifl Shelter for $20. 
  • All reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance of the rental.

  • A $500 damage deposit and certificate of insurance is required to have alcohol at your rental.  This is returned to you as long as no damage occurred.  See the policy below for more information on the insurance requirement.
