Municipal Utility Service Area (MUSA)

The Municipal Utility Service Area (MUSA) is that area of the city eligible for service by the city’s water and sanitary sewer utilities. This area is designated in agreement with the Metropolitan Council, which provides treatment of the city’s sanitary sewer waste at its St. Paul treatment plant. 

The 2020  MUSA boundary is shown on the City Zoning Map.
