Welcome Home Pheasant Hunt
Starting in 2010, the Hugo Yellow Ribbon Network has welcomed home every Minnesota National Guard Unit from overseas deployment with a uniquely Minnesota welcome, a Guided Pheasant Hunt. To date, there have been 30 Welcome Home Hunts hosting nearly 3,000 Soldiers and Airmen at Wild Wings of Oneka Hunt Club in Hugo.
The mission purpose of these events is to share the gift of our great American hunting tradition with a military member returning from overseas deployment who has missed a hunting season while defending our right to enjoy ours.
To be a sponsor at this event, please see the attached sponsor flyer and/or contact YRN Chair Chuck Haas at 651-247-0354.

The Hugo Yellow Ribbon celebrates five years of volunteer support of our Military Troops!
At the Hugo City Council meeting on December 15, 2014, the Hugo Yellow Ribbon Network celebrated its fifth anniversary, and the City Council recognized those who volunteer their support. The Council was joined by Minnesota Adjutant General Major General Rick Nash and Director of Military Outreach Annette Kuyper in presenting Certificates of Appreciation to the Hamburger Night Sponsors, the Hugo American Legion, and the Centennial Hockey Association and Bayport American Legion for their support through charitable gambling. General Nash expressed his gratitude for all the support of the YRN on behalf of more than 13,000 members of the National Guard. Thank you Yellow Ribbon Network for all you do!
